Kwasi , Ghanaians are not fools. But some of you are half educated. Get the facts on Uvory Coast cocoa pricing formula straight. FYI Ivory Coast has two pricing windows, the main crop season (Oct to March) and light crop season (Apr to Sept) So basically the new price in Ivory Coast is based on the current world market price of around $3,100.00. Going forwatd for Ghana at the current price and the exchange rare of ghc11.00, next years cocoa price all things being equal should be a little over ghc2,000.00.
