Let's fact-check the 3 NPP narrative this 2026:
1. Why is NDC giving a haircut to cocoa farmers? If the NPP admit that cocoa prices are set each cocoa season by prices offered by cocoa bean buyers on the world market then why should the government pay more than the percentage cocoa farmers get from the season price set on the world market? And if the NPP believe a government promise should be honored then why is Dr. Bawumia running for office again after his failure to build toilets and bath houses he promised or after the dollar escape from the IGP or a miserable result of the Ghana economy while serving as the driver's mate?

2. Why is Dr. Bawumia not deserving of credit for Gold-For-Reserve scheme? Ghana has had reserves prior to our independence and while Nkrumah and his CPP was running the nation. Retaining a reserve is an economic policy of majority civilized nations. Ghana's cocoa and gold revenues have long been used as monetary reserves; using gold is not new and is not an invention or an original idea in Ghana or anywhere else. The NPP must first establish with, documented proof, that Ghana, since independence, has not had reserves of any kind period.

3. The Mahama government should not create a new oversight agency for the proposed 24-hour economy because the NPP has the 1D1F scheme - Did anyone from the NPP grant credit to Kwame Nkrumah for any of their Akufo-Addo/ Dr. Bawumia era schemes? Did Kwame Nkrumah's government not have more state owned and operated industries covering every economic sector from hotels, factories to the establishment of state insurance aka SSNIT? So if Nkrumah introduced the concept of providing youth employment via diversification of economic development including construction of a dam then where in lies justification for Dr. Bawumia credit?
