Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the February Player of the Month award in the Premier League after an impressive run of form since his arrival at Manchester City earlier this year.

The Ghana international has made an immediate impact at the Etihad Stadium following his January transfer from AFC Bournemouth in a deal reportedly worth between £64 million and £72 million. Despite joining midway through the season, the 26-year-old has quickly adapted to the demands of manager Pep Guardiola and established himself as a valuable option in City’s attack.

Semenyo’s nomination follows a strong February in which he featured in all five of City’s league matches. During that run, the reigning champions remained unbeaten, recording four wins and one draw while continuing their push near the top of the table.

Across those games, the forward scored three goals and registered one assist. One of his key contributions came in a 2–2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, where his goal helped City secure a point. He also delivered an outstanding display in a win over Fulham, scoring once and setting up teammate Nico O'Reilly.

Semenyo continued his impressive run by netting the decisive goal in a narrow away victory against Leeds United, ensuring City collected another important three points.

Since joining the club, the Ghanaian attacker has scored seven goals in his first 12 appearances in all competitions. Overall, he has now recorded 15 goals and four assists in the league this season, highlighting the significant impact he has made during his debut campaign with the Premier League champions.
