Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana and Quiz Mistress for the National Science and Maths Quiz, Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann, was one of the winners at the 2025 GhanaWeb Excellence Awards.

During the awards ceremony at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann received the STEM award.

The category featured notable personalities, including the Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency, Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse; IT guru Ethel Delali Cofie; Director of GhanaThink, Ato Ulzen-Appiah; Vaulta CEO Kofi Genfi; and Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann.
