Ofori Atta has not been convicted tried and of any criminal charges yet.
Here in Ghana if a politician embezzled a mere $1.3 m even the opposing party would just pat them on their back and say "don't worry mate, this is nothing" - the NDC would do that for an NPP member and vise-versa.
