Sometimes Ghanaians are so ignorant it's mind boggling. Just because you can buy a cheap laptop for Ghc 3000 does not mean an outfit like Golbod should buy the same. An entity like Golbod need to have a top of the line secured system, so buying a Ghc 3000 laptop won't cut. The price for the laptop is justified as comparable specs sell for over Ghc 21K or more. The only question for me is whether other companies could not have competed for the contract
Regarding whether the company that supplied belongs to Stan Dogbe, I think a search at Regustrar General can resolve that. But even if that were the case, is Stan Dogbe not a Ghanaian? Could he not own a business that does business with State institutions? Transparency is the key here, if everything is out in the open, nobody can create any mischief, unless there is mischief to be created. I know NPP is gunning for Sammy Gyamfi, if I were him, I would broadcast every intended purchase for Golbod, this way, some of the NPP folks can compete for the contract. Otherwise, they will always look for ways to muddy the waters.
