Top Premier League clubs have made inquiries about Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku with the aim of signing him in the summer.

According to Binge Football, talks are ongoing between the player’s camp and several Premier League clubs who are seeking information about his preferences before making official moves.

It was reported that Brentford and Fulham are currently the frontrunners in the race for the Black Stars winger, with negotiations currently ongoing with Leicester City.

It is also understood that Aston Villa could be an attractive option for the player if they secure a place in the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League.

The report stated that if Leicester City are relegated from the Championship to League One, Issahaku’s price tag could drop significantly from around £5 million, making a transfer easier.

The English clubs have been scouting the winger since last season, and he has continued to impress them with his consistent performances.

Issahaku initially joined Leicester City on loan from Sporting CP, where he played 12 matches before signing a five-year permanent contract for an undisclosed fee in 2024.

Issahaku has made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
