The Anloga Junction is notorious for vehicular accidents, often attributed to brake failures and the steep descent leading to the intersection.
This latest crash has reignited calls from residents for the National Road Safety Authority to implement stricter traffic calming measures in the area.
Police from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) have since visited the scene to commence investigations into the exact cause of the mechanical failure.
