Antoine Semenyo is a Manchester City player
Ghanaian international and Manchester City winger, Antoine Semenyo, has expressed his delight after helping his side win the Carabao Cup.
Speaking to Sky Sports on March 22, 2026, following Manchester City’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal, Semenyo said he was excited and relaxed after securing his first trophy with the club.
According to him, the team executed their game plan perfectly, which contributed to their success.
“I’m excited, I’m happy, and there’s more to come. I feel very chilled and relaxed. It’s just another game for me. We had a game plan, and we knew that if we executed it well, we would win, and that’s exactly what we did today. We’re all proud and happy,” he said.

Semenyo also shared his experience playing on the wings during the Carabao Cup final.
He noted that he enjoyed operating on the flanks, adding that although he initially faced some challenges from Hincapié, he was able to overcome them.
“Yeah, I think I just have that freedom to do what I want, take on defenders and cause problems, and that’s what I did today. I had Hincapié running around a bit.
“It’s my job, and it gives me that freedom. Once he got booked, he started backing off, which allowed me to drive at him, get into the box, cause problems, and deliver crosses or take shots,” he added.
