Parents also tend to choose courses for their children even if they can't do it. Become a lawyer. Pharmacist, doctor....while the child cannot do it.

The student suffered heart attack due to high BP readings,he complained of chest pains but the school clinic was locked because it was on Saturday.
He was assisted by a student Medical Dr but they could not get a medically friendly facility to resuscitate him.
So it was High BP that led to the collapse.
The problem we face is the high school fees we pay up to the tune of Ghc22,915.00 there is no medical examination of the health status of students,no medical care to students and they just left on their own.

I have an issue with the law school’s clinic being closed on a day that students are supposed to be in the building. This should be a learning opportunity for the school. Anytime students are in the building, the clinic must be opened. Also due to the intense nature of the program, the clinic and even students must always carry baby aspirin with them in case of such emergencies. Should such first aid measure have been employed, Sammy would have reached the hospital alive for intense treatment to be administered to save his life. This could have been avoided, which is what makes it so painful.
To the students,, I say it is ok to take a break when the pressure becomes overwhelming. It is not a competition… go at the pace for which you can manage.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
