It is still shocking the way Akufo-Addo ran Ghana down in 8 years. Even if you questioned his academic qualifications, there was no doubt where his heart was before his presidency. He had confronted Acheampong’s Unigov ruse and the dictatorial early Rawlings years. I think his electoral loses to Mills and especially Mahama changed him. He became more self centered and autocratic. He jettisoned his democratic credentials and embraced tribal and parochial interests. He watched as the nation spiraled into debt and despondency. At a time, it seemed like he had given up on Ghana. Religious honors at this point in his life are soothing to the soul. But the disappointment that such an otherwise honorable man represents is sad.

He then became president of own country Ghana and possessed by Evil, Corruption, Greed and like a complete Illiterate, he brought in LI 2462 to allow mining in Forest Reserves. Read that again.

He recklessly colluded with Wontumi add foreign Chanfang operatives to destroy our forests, destroy our rivers and kill freshwater fish, pollute our nation’s drinking water, poison our land, poison our foodstuffs and destroy cocoa farms.

Were these the actions of someone masquerading as ‘Father of the Nation’ ???? Generational damage and trauma done to Ghana and the nation’s health jeopardised for generations to come.

All this motivated by corruption and selfish greed. No consideration whatsoever for Ghana and her people.

This man also destroyed so many buildings in the historic Ridge area of Accra, in order to realise his Cathedral dream/nightmare. All the money is gone and all we have is complete destruction and a big hole in the ground.

This man was totally unfit and unqualified to be anywhere near the presidency. Sane Ghanaians should never ever forget this.
