For the first time, I side with the rat shit eaters. Nkrumah was a strong leader alright: built remarkable infrastructure to give Ghana a firm grounding as a new independent nation, however, some of his deeds placed him in very bad light. For me, one single scandal associated with him is the poisoning to death of Gold Coasts first noble peace prize nominee Dr Raphael Armattoe of Keta, who was a strong advocate for the unification of all Eves of Togoland, to the dislike of nkrumah. So it's believed he nkrumah masterminded his assassination. Then again another Eve nationalist Sylvanus Olympio's overthrow and assassination was linked to nkrumah. For him to oppose all these laudable projects of Eve unification, coupled with other accusations (which I'm an advocate of, being the detention of riotous fools who don't respect order, like we see party supporters thronging BNI and EOCO offices), Kotoka was simply a patriot who stood forward to save this country. I've read and heard that the thunderous support that greeted the NLC coup leaders was unprecedented. Time has passed, and some ill informed and tribally envious people have gained some voice to clamor for Kotoka's name's removal. This has happened easily because we have a president in mahama whom I've sadly come to realise that is such a childish/infantile and easily swayed person. He doesn't help matters in this case. Worse of it all is that fulani descendant called Asiedu Nketia who, rather laughably, is grinning his way around to canvas for votes to become Ghana's president. He came out to state unequivocally that the name should be changed from Kotoka. Just look at this man too. Hey Ghanaians, look carefully at Asiedu Nketia's forehead, if he is honest, he will admit that either his father or mother is a fulani. Such a person wants to rule Ghana? You mean the Ghana of Ephraim Amu, Philip Gbeho, Raphael Armattoe, or most of all, the Ghana of Francis Awoonor-Williams who was a founding member of the ugcc even before JB Danqua and Edward Akufo-Addo got their seats in that convention? What is the Volta caucus in parliament doing? The usual nonsense of scratching the back of npp and vice versa i guess? Only thinking about their stomach u guess. Nonsense. It looks like we need the last coup de tat, this time around not by corrupt soldiers but by the conscious masses, who will come and really give a good beating to these fools hijacking the reigns of this country, whereby, people keep dollars under their bed, and walk about freely, attending funerals together with the ruling government members, and laughing. Okay. We shall see. Nonsense.
