Restoring the dignity of Africans can only be done by Africans themselves and no one else. Unfortunately, since independence we have done nothing to restore our dignity. Having access to political power in Africa was not seen as a means of improving the lifes of the masses but a means of enriching oneself. Nepotism and corruption everywhere not to talk of the lawlessness which has engulfed our societies. Many African countries are poorer after independence (due to poor leadership) than they were during colonialism. That said I urge all Ghanaians/Africans to watch the YouTube channel called "Bantucitydiaries" to understand why the African continent is not making progress compared to other parts of the world.
