Former Member of Parliament for Kubungu, Ras Mubarak, says Mussa Dankwa’s recent polls on the National Democratic Congress do not reflect the realities of the political party.

He maintains that Mussa Dankwa’s polls do not match what National Democratic Congress delegates are seeking.

To him, just as Mussa Dankwa failed in the Ayawaso East primaries, his polls, which do not make mention of Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, will certainly fail.

Making this position known in a social media post, he said, “I’ve seen my friend Mussa Dankwah’s latest poll on the NDC’s 2028 flagbearer. While it may seem early for such conversations, let me say this respectfully: the facts on the ground do not support his current findings."

“Just like in the Ayawaso East by-election, where I had extensive behind-the-scenes discussions with Baba Jamal, the polls failed to reflect the reality on the ground. Baba was advised to ignore the numbers and focus on his message, and events proved that right.

“Mussa was wrong then. Insha Allah, he will be proven wrong again. Any poll that does not feature the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, as a leading candidate should be taken with a very big pinch of salt.”

In the latest poll released by Mussa Dankwa and his Global Info Analytics, Ato Forson stands the chance of winning the NDC flagbearership after John Dramani Mahama exits office.

He is followed keenly by the party’s chairman, Asiedu Nketia, and education minister Haruna Iddrisu.
