Spending around US$1 billion on a National-ID system with a purported biometric database backend that was made vulnerable to court challenges because of the issuance of 2 separate but equal ID's to Rev Kusi Boateng using submitted applications with different parent or names without detection while using same picture.

How can anyone outside of Ghana have confidence in our so-called biometric system for National-ID or passport? If Dr. Bawumia wants co-opted credit for the National-ID system then it is only logical that failures with implementation, training on use of the system and all SOP's that were ignored to have enabled human intervention that by-passed the critical biometric validation check for Rev Kusi Boateng should also rest with his/Dr. Bawumia's negligence or lack of supervision.
