Fire guts parts of Resurrection Power Church at Kasoa

A fire outbreak has been reported at Resurrection Power Church in Kasoa in the Central Region, with parts of the building engulfed in flames.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred earlier today, March 29, 2026, sparking panic among residents and nearby traders as thick smoke billowed into the sky.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.

Sources at the scene indicate that the blaze began from a section of the church premises before spreading rapidly to other parts of the structure.

Some residents and bystanders attempted to douse the flames using buckets of water and throwing sachets of water but their efforts have not been successful.
