  He does not understand Lome airport is 2 hour drive from Accra and if the fare is $400 cheaper from Togo, there will be a rush to Lome for all those people who value $400 more than a 2 hour drive to Lome.

  This tells you that management of the Airport is as corrupt as other organizations in the country. The supposed useless management cannot account for the money the airport makes because they are busy stealing every cedi generated.

  The name is " non-maintenace ". As my friend says
  - and he is right - in our local languages there is no word for maintenance.That is why we leave many things unattended .Even those educated do not practise it ,neither do they teach others how to do the maintenance.
  The damage at the airport did not occur in one day,unless there was an earthquake !!
