  No. That the OSP was created without the constitutional amendments requisite for an independent prosecutorial body. Regardless of the urgency of the corruption fight, the constitution reigns supreme and should not be set aside. That said, the supposed independence of the OSP has been demonstrated partly through Agyabeng's own admissions to be illusory. If the OSP wasn't able to take certain actions because someone's cousin was president and that the cooperation of certain state agencies was not forthcoming (the latter claim proving false, I grant), then wherein lies the independence? The OSP experiment has failed. Now we await the implementation of the CRC's proposed constitutional amendment to create an anti-corruption commission, which would be properly constituted and mandated.
