Wisdom Tetteh has been declared wanted by Ghana police
Ghana Police Service has declared Wisdom Tetteh wanted in connection with the disappearance of 27-year-old Theophilus Ashitey Amarh.
The Accra Regional Police Command says the suspect is being actively pursued following ongoing investigations and is urging the public to assist in his arrest.

In an update issued on April 14, 2026, and signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs, the Police said the decision follows key developments in the investigation.
“The Accra Regional Police Command has officially declared suspect Wisdom Tetteh wanted in connection with the disappearance of Theophilus Ashitey Amarh and is calling on the public to assist in his arrest,” the statement said.
The Police explained that preliminary investigations indicate the missing person was last seen at the suspect’s residence, where suspected bloodstains were later discovered, suggesting possible foul play.
“The suspect is being declared wanted following ongoing investigations, which revealed that the missing person was last seen at his residence, where suspected bloodstains were later discovered, indicating possible foul play.
"Intelligence further suggests that the suspect has fled the country to neighbouring Togo,” the statement added.
The Command has appealed to the public to provide any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
“The Police urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to report to the nearest Police Station or call the Police emergency numbers. The Command assures the public that all efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect and bring him to justice,” it said.

Background
Theophilus Ashitey was reported missing after allegedly leaving his home in Oyibi in the Greater Accra Region to meet individuals who had expressed interest in purchasing a vehicle he had advertised online.
Reports indicate that he left for the meeting in the company of another individual known in the neighbourhood, who is also alleged to have fled the area.
