The introductory paragraph of the OSP law, Act 959, 2017 clearly states that the osp will prosecute offences on the authority of the AG.
Section 4 (2) of the same Act makes reference to article 88(4) of the constitution and says that the osp shall be authorized by the AG to initiate and prosecute offences.
What was before the court wasn't a constitutional matter but what is in the osp law. The osp law mandates the osp to get authorization from AG to prosecute, but osp is prosecuting without that authorization. The acused person brought the motion to court that osp doesn't have authorization from AG to prosecute. The court asked OSP, to show authorization but osp failed. The court asked AG, did u authorize osp? AG said no. The court then ruled in favor of the the acused.

Or
b) REQUIRES the Ag. to provide the authorisation (it is not optional). As the deputy Ag. has indicated, the Ag is also subject to law and can be directed/instructed by Acts of Parliament.

Either way the OSP law cannot be unconstitutional, and what we are seeing is legal gymnastics by political actors to remove themselves from accountability.

If we the people allow this to stand, we may as well change the wording on the Independence Arch from "Freedom and Justice" to "Freedom to Create , Loot and Share"!

What makes you think you can prosecute more cases when you have not even be able to conclude one ORAL case since you came to power after deceiving us to believe that you will arrest and jail all the thieves looking from the state when you were in opposition. one thing we have forgotten as a nation to understand wealth is, wealth is the legacy we leave for the unborn generation not to suffer for our corrupt practices but to leave them a future that they won't suffer. That is true wealth but currently everyday our thievery is leading to hardship for them. Worse is we are all thieves and abandoned our morals to steal without thinking about the next generation across all sectors of the nation and worse is that at the end we are not even going with our purse or wallet.
