Every show off legal practitioner within the npp afenyo markin type should bow their heads in shame. They talk too much and shocking to know this new development about the osp office and they instead wereshouting in parliament. Did our speaker a respectable legal academic never seeked legal advice from his higher legal network of contactsbefore presiding over parliament passing the osp law. I withdraw my case against bagbin if he wasnt speaker when osp establishment law was passed. Nana addo should be invited for interview on measures why he never queried this osp law. He should be charged for causing financial loss to the state for all the wasted budget given to the osp office. Whos money is the ospgoing to use to appeal this case, osp go fund me??? Surely he should not be allowed to use tax payers money. I hope hes not going to resign, be sacked or retirement and ask for military protection and an armoured V8 that can withstand Donald ducks ballisti bunker busters. Ghana is a wasted state resource joke , when citizens have to pay for hospital cards before been seen after they arrive unconsious at the hospital. I have been saying from day 1 that the OSP is a duplication of effort. It is a useless office established by Nana Addo with the blessings of JJ Rawlings. Since the establishment of the office, how many cases has the OSP prosecuted successfully? We need to go back to the proper system of an independent prosecution service with a director of prosecution services appointed by a 7 member committee recommended by parliament comprising of (1) A senior police commissioner (2) A high court judge (3) 2 senior civil servants (4) A senior lawyer (5) A member from the regional house of chiefs. We must amend the constitution so that the AG becomes the lawyer of the government only. The function of the AG is transactional in the sense that the AG scratches the back of its pay master. It is about time that parliament removes the OSP from our jurisprudence.
