The police should conduct the autopsy whether the family likes it or not. They're rejecting the autopsy for now and once he gets buried, then they can come out with conspiracy theories to extort monies from the people.

Should any family tradition supercede the laws of the state? If this is heeded to, will it not open floodgate for violations of our laws? Since the court has ordered the autopsy, it should be carried out so that, if what painfully killed our brother is a disease that is lingering on in the bereaved family or in the school, quickly a lasting remedy is sought. It is not always for litigation purposes that leads to postmortem. It is largely for prevention purposes. The bereaved family should do what needs to be done and allow the autopsy to be carried out.
