Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to creating an enabling environment that supports investment and strengthens strategic cooperation.

According to her, government remains focused on leveraging partnerships to drive industrial growth, support local farmers, and advance Ghana’s broader economic transformation agenda.

She made these remarks during high-level talks with GB Foods, a subsidiary of Agrolimen, as part of her official engagements in Barcelona, Spain.

The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen Ghana’s longstanding relationship with Spain and explore mutually beneficial investment opportunities, particularly in the agricultural sector.

She noted that sustained collaboration between the public and private sectors is critical to achieving long-term development goals and improving livelihoods across the country.

“Government remains determined to create an enabling environment that supports investment and strengthens strategic cooperation,” she stated.

She further emphasised that strategic partnerships will play a key role in transforming key sectors of the economy, particularly agriculture and industry.

“We are committed to leveraging partnerships to drive industrial growth, support our farmers, and advance Ghana’s economic transformation agenda,” she added.
