  A senseless, wasteful and a failed project ab initio, in fact, a misplaced priority. Borne out of flawed and baseless reasoning, just to satisfy one’s egoistic tendencies. A 24-Hour Economy Market, to sell what? Tomatoes and other vegetables from Burkina Faso, onions and cows from Niger, rice from India, Vietnam, Thailand and China, edible oil (sunflower, corn, canola, etc.,) from Europe, Indonesia and Malaysia or Obroni waawu (second hand) and borla (garbage) goods from USA, Europe and other parts of the world? Does the construction of a supposed place for selling goods necessarily stimulate a supposed demand, productivity and job creation? What are the planned linkages? Do we always need a specific location, as a necessity, in order to sell or buy goods, in this digital age? Mr President, please come again!

  @Kwasi. Excellent submission. I can not agree with you more. Well said!! Mahama is a populist and not an intelligent leader. Some of the things they are doing doesn't make sense. So far, no concrete policies have been launched to address the unemployment problem in the country. The universities are producing large number of graduates who can't find job and yet we keep establishing more universities instead of technical and vocational institutions. There is something fundamentally wrong with the black man's way of reasoning.

  Talk about a politician who is daft, and Mahama is right there. By the way, I don't blame him rather those who brought him back to power because he did not use the gun to usurp power so whatever he does or doing should be put on the head of those who saw Mahama as a "Normal human" to lead people.

  President Mahama does not understand his own flagship policy- 24 hour economy..Introducing the policy before 2024 elections, he said one job for 3 people -1-3-3.Apolicy which was supposed to solve the youth unemployment in the country is not thinking of helping the private sector to establish factories to process our raw materials,but it now going to build 24 hour economy markets in all districts in the country for buying and selling business. The name itself is deceptive because the market cannot operate 24 hours
  The traders will have to close and go home to sleep.The traders will go everyday to display their wares but there will be no buyers because if people have no meaningful jobs to earn money they cannot go to the market to buy their needs.Infact Mr Mahama is wasting everybody's time. He is joking with the position entrusted to him by Ghanaians. He needs to sit up to re-order his priorities.Building markets is not 24 hour economy. Even in advanced countries where workers have money to spend, malls do not operate 24 hours.He is just embarking on those projects just to amass wealth for himself his party and members of his party.
