Ghana’s U-17 women’s team, the Black Maidens, delivered an emphatic 6-0 victory over Togo in their second-leg clash, sealing an 8-0 aggregate win to book a place in the next round of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has expressed strong confidence in his squad ahead of their next assignment following the dominant performance.

Speaking after the match, Coach Adarkwa praised his team’s depth and readiness as they prepare to face Liberia in the next stage.

“Don’t fear, we have a strong bench and we will beat Liberia to move on,” he assured.

The Black Maidens showcased attacking brilliance and defensive solidity across both legs, leaving little doubt about their superiority over their West African opponents.

Coach Adarkwa also highlighted the team’s determination to maintain their momentum in the qualifiers.

“The girls are focused and hungry for success. What you saw today is just a glimpse of what we are capable of,” he added.
