The govt can target the idiots at Chiraa with this tax, and I do not care what any person from Chiraa or a relative of the thief called Sir John thinks!.
A mausoleum that cost over 20,,000 cedis to build attracts 40 percent tax.
Over 20,001 cedis to 200,000 cedis 65 % tax. Anything above 200,000 cedis at 100% . They can use this windfall to build average bungalows for nurses ,teachers ,doctors.etc Simple as that. It is same as those who import expensive cars such as Bentley, Rolls Royce, Bugatti etc. You hit them with 200% tax and you use that money to buy Marco Polo buses for the public. You do not need an IQ of 50 to figure out how beneficial that will be to the over all majority.

I like the Akuffo Addo Free Education but I think it should not be totally free, especially for those at the Boarding and Lodging schools. Even Uncle Sam who is the richest of all does not offer Free Education for Boarding and Lodging Students which is not even common. Such students should be made to pay towards that. Even in Uncle Sam’s country, feeding of students is only free for students whose Parents are not that well to do and are just at, or below the Poverty level. Let Parents and Guardians pay something towards the Boarding and Lodging of their children at the High Schools. We want Free Education for our children because we are poor and cannot afford to pay. Yet, we are able to save and travel on Pilgrimages to Mecca and Israel. Does this make sense? Such Pilgrims rather finance the economy of Saudi Arabia and Israel. And is it necessary for people who are poor and poor and find it difficult to make ends meet go on Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. The Prophet Mohammed specifically mentioned that people who go on Pilgrimages to Mecca and Medina should be people who have been able to take care of the needs of themselves and their families.
