How can anyone in his right mind compare the outstanding accomplishments of Ibrahim Mahama with that of a questionable person like Bryan Acheampong? I would feel very insulted by that comparison if I were Ibrahim Mahama. What is Bryan Acheampongs business track record? His recent dismal record as Minister of Agriculture says it all.

How can any right-minded person respect anybody who was a mere sous-chef in the US army and claim that it was from that pension that he built a hotel of over 1,000 rooms - the biggest in Africa and among the ten biggest in the world, in the middle of the jungle in the Eastern region of Ghana? Even the 4 - 5-star Møvenpick and Kempinski hotels situated in the business district of Accra are struggling to make a headway.

Then you compared the Damang deal with what Bryan Acheampong was seeking to do with the SSNIT Hotels, and your mischief became apparent. Bryan Acheampong was a cabinet minister, who sat in cabinet meetings where issues with the SSNIT Hotels were discussed. He was a senior member of the government who was using his position to acquire a national asset. That was totally different from what is happening here. E&P when through the process of acquiring Damang legitimately, with the approval and assistance from former president, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo... E&P/Ibrahim Mahama, had no relationship with the government or anyone in the government at the time this acquisition process was initiated. Why then put these 2 transactions in the same category? Carlos, I thought you were trying to rebuild your disgraced reputation... You can do better than this...

Please President Nkrumah established the State Gold Mining Corporation to take over the mines. Please President Nkrumah did not give the mines to his brother, Papa J D Nkrumah of Tarkwa or his cousin, Nana Kwamena Adade, the Chief of Tarkwa Nsuaem. Please President Mahama knew the Wassa mines at Damang was going to expire and he purported it in his heart not to renew the lease and give it to his brother. Please lbrahim Mahama was supplying mining equipment to the Wassa mines. Please that does not make him an expert in mining.Please President Nkrumah also established the Ghana National Trading Corporation ( GNTC) to take over A G Leventis. And there were GNTC stores all over the country being managed by Ghanaians. The head office building he called it Ghana House. Please President Nkrumah .also bought the Graphic Corporation from the British owners and handed it over to Ghanaians. Please President Mahama cannot come from the Northern Territories and give the Wassa mines at Damang to his brother Ibrahim Mahama.
