Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz to meet media in Accra on April 23

Carlos Queiroz, head coach of the Ghana national football team, is set to address the media at a press conference on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Alisa Hotel, Accra.

The event, scheduled for 1 pm, will bring together journalists to interact with the Portuguese trainer following his appointment last week.

Queiroz is expected to outline his vision for the team, present his technical approach, and respond to questions ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The engagement will also serve as his formal introduction to the Ghanaian public, while setting expectations for the tournament and strengthening coordination between the technical team, the media and supporters.

Ghana will be making their fifth World Cup appearance and have been drawn in Group L alongside the Panama national football team, the England national football team and the Croatia national football team.
