And so what? That is the stupid question you should ask? Did you hear or know how some women who were married were shaved bald on the Head with broken bottles and glasses? How some of such women were stripped almost naked and whipped at their bare backs, buttocks and even their genitalia by Irate, drugged and drunken Soldiers? The Soldiers who did that behaved as if they lived centuries before the Stone Age. And when I criticize such abnormalities by some of our Soldiers, some people who cannot reason beyond their noses categorize me as Anti NDC and Pro NPP. In a Democratic system of Government, I have the right to belong to any Political Party. I am apolitical but most of my friends were and are NDC members some of who belonged to the BNI and were very close with Rawlings. I still get along with them but they know that I have never appreciated the atrocities that some silly Military Men carried out during the AFRC time. We always agree to disagree. I don’t think that any sane person will like what were done under the AFRC In the name of that Military Adventurism.
Some of us were old enough and remember what People like Nkwantabisa and Akrasi Sarpong did and caused some Military Personnel to do to many innocent civilians and even some Senior Military Officers like Colonel Minyila at the Kamina Barracks and township. These Soldiers were just barbaric, inhuman, and plain evil. I shall always write against the atrocities that were committed then to fellow Ghanaians. Only fools will sing praises to such evil criminals.
I am very satisfied that those who were involved in these atrocities against fellow Ghanaians had sad endings and were even abandoned by their own who helped them in their evil administrations.
It is worthy of note that our Northern brothers came to realize that their youth were used for the AFRC Coup and abandoned or killed after being accused of attempted Military Coup d’etat against Rawlings.
