Controversial Ghanaian prophet, Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja
Controversial Ghanaian prophet, Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, the founder of Roja City International Church, has claimed that education and hard work have nothing to do with success.
According to him, life is more of a spiritual journey than a physical one.
Speaking in an interview on Angel TV, excerpts of which have been shared on social media, the man of God argued that people who usually work hard in life often remain poor, while those with spiritual backing and who work smart succeed in the race of life.
“There is nobody in this life who works hard and has become successful. If anybody tells you that hard work brings success, that is a big lie,” he said.
Prophet Roja cautioned Christians not to be misled by pastors who preach only about heavenly treasures while living lavishly on earth.
“Don’t allow your pastors to tell you to always seek heavenly treasures and forget this world. It is a lie. He will be building mansions and sending his children to good schools abroad while you suffer here,” he added.

He further dismissed the popular belief that education is the key to success.
“Working hard has nothing to do with success. People who claim education is the key to success are lying. I have come to believe that spirituality is the key to success. Life is not about physicality or what you know, but whom you know,” Prophet Roja emphasized.
He stressed that connections and relationships play a crucial role in determining success in life.
