Self-styled Kubala king, Kofi Agyemang Offeh, has returned to Ghana following his deportation from Scotland and says his mission to establish a kingdom is still on course.

Speaking in an interview with Kofi TV at the Accra International Airport on April 22, 2026, shortly after his arrival, he insisted that recent events have not changed his plans.

He said his next focus is Sunyani, which he described as “Sun City” and “where the sunshine starts in Ghana,” adding that he intends to build his new kingdom there after the collapse of his Kubala camp in Scotland in 2025.

According to him, his authority is not tied to one location but follows him wherever he goes.

He maintained that his presence alone in the country is enough to establish dominion, adding that he has come to “take over Ghana” and insists that everyone, including politicians, chiefs and even the police, will bow to him.

“I have come to take over Ghana because I am the King of Kubala. Everywhere I land, I take dominion; where I establish my throne, so the time has come. Everyone will bow before me, whether chiefs, politicians or even the police are going to serve me,” he declared.

Kofi Offeh, who also refers to himself as King Atehene, and his partner were previously evicted from Scotland after authorities discovered irregularities in their immigration status.

The eviction operation, which was livestreamed, involved police, sheriff’s officers and immigration officials removing members of the group from a wooded area near Jedburgh.

During the operation, Offeh and a woman identified as Kaura Taylor from Texas, who describes herself as a “handmaiden,” were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and handcuffed.

Another member of the group, Jean Gasho, 43, originally from Zimbabwe and known within the group as Queen Nandi, left the scene separately in a pickup truck.
