The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), in collaboration with RAM Media Concepts and the Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Centre (GNBCC), has launched the 2nd edition of the GhanaFest Europe Experience.

The 2026 GhanaFest Europe Experience would be held at the World Trade Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Ghana’s leading non-traditional export destination, under the theme “Value Addition and Sustainable Partnerships: Shaping the Future of Ghana-Netherlands Trade.”

The event, which will be held from September 10–12, 2026, is expected to open Ghanaian businesses to the European market.

Speaking at the launch of the event on April 21, 2026, Augustine Mark, the Chief Executive Officer of RAM Media Concepts, the organisers of the event, indicated that its main objective is to maximise Ghana’s position in global trade by moving the country beyond the export of raw materials, investing in value addition, and building lasting, equitable partnerships with credible international counterparts.

He pointed out that the choice of Amsterdam as the venue for the event is to ensure that the objectives of the expo are realised.

He added that all the necessary measures have been put in place to ensure that Ghanaian businesses that participate in the event get all the intended benefits.

“The Netherlands, one of the world's most sophisticated trading nations and Ghana's valued European partner, is the ideal arena in which to advance this agenda. I am pleased to inform this gathering that our planning committee has significantly escalated operations towards the successful execution of the expo. Every detail, from logistics, exhibitor onboarding, programming design and stakeholder engagement, has been carefully calibrated to ensure that every exhibitor, every attendee and every government agency representative derives substantial and tangible value from their participation,” he said.

The CEO further stated that all Ghanaian businesses can participate in the event.

“The 2026 Expo is expected to attract engagement across key Dutch business sectors, including agriculture and food processing, horticulture, building and construction, real estate, tourism, FinTech, pharmaceuticals and technical innovations in business operations. To this end, Ghanaian businesses are presented with a remarkable opportunity to access global trade and investment prospects that can catalyse expansion and drive national economic development for Ghana,” he said.

On his part, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Albert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, popularly known as Abeiku Santana, said that his outfit is in full support of the initiative.

He pointed out that the expo would serve as a platform to showcase Ghana’s tourism destination and potential to the world.

“For us at the Ghana Tourism Authority, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting global platforms like the GhanaFest Europe, deepening collaboration with trade and investment institutions, positioning Ghana as Africa's preferred tourism destination, and promoting tourism as a key driver of economic transformation.

“GhanaFest Europe is more than an expo. It is a declaration — a declaration that Ghana is open for business, a declaration that Ghana is ready for global partnership, and a declaration that Ghana is rising,” he added.
