Prophetess Professor Mercy Aku Kaku, the founder and leader of Mesukkah Organization Ministries
Prophetess Professor Mercy Aku Kaku, the founder and leader of Mesukkah Organization Ministries in Dansoman Akoko Foto in the Greater Accra region has appealed to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohunno and the Presidency to intervene in what she describes as the persistent harassment and intimidation of residents by alleged landguards at Akoko Foto.
Speaking in an interview on April 23, 2026, Prophetess Aku Kaku said several residents in the area have been living in fear following repeated demolitions, threats and disputes over land ownership involving multiple parties.
The prophetess alleged that people's structures and properties, including fences and buildings under construction, had been pulled down by some of these individuals.
“This is happening to many people here but most of them are afraid to speak,” she said, adding that she decided to speak publicly on behalf of affected residents.
She called on the IGP to investigate alleged threats and unlawful demolitions, insisting that land disputes should be resolved through the courts and not through force or intimidation.

“If there is a judgment, those affected must be properly informed. You cannot just come and start demolishing people’s property,” she said.
Aku Kaku also appealed to the Presidency to step in and help restore peace in the area.
She maintained that if due legal processes determine that occupants must vacate the vicinity, they would comply but insisted residents deserve clear explanations and lawful treatment.
