Before the big-money headlines and Premier League spotlight, Antoine Semenyo was already showing flashes of the explosive talent that would later take him to the top level of English football.

In 2018, while on loan from Bristol City, the young forward featured 14 times for Bath City in the National League South, a key early step in his development.

A resurfaced video from that period captures Semenyo’s raw potential in full flow.

Still a teenager at the time, he is seen driving at defenders with confidence, gliding past opponents in tight spaces and showing the physical strength that would later become his trademark.

What stood out most, however, was his finishing. Semenyo scored with both feet in those early appearances, underlining a natural two-footed ability that has remained a defining feature of his game.

Even then, he looked comfortable striking from different angles without hesitation, a trait that made him unpredictable in front of goal.

Those early performances in non-league football offered a glimpse of a player still developing but already ahead of the curve in terms of power, directness, and composure.

Fast forward to today, and Semenyo has transformed into one of the most sought-after forwards in English football, making a major £65m move to Manchester City.
