A Ghanaian man, Ebenezer Aborah, who previously worked as a physician assistant at the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman, has graduated from the United States Air Force Basic Military Training and is now serving as an Airman First Class (A1C) in the United States Air Force.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on April 25, 2026, he recounted his early beginnings in Ghana, where he worked on farms and at a washing bay to support his education.

"I started in a village with no electricity—working on farms and at car washes just to stay in school. After high school, I rode a tricycle to raise money for college admission and burned charcoal to pay my tuition.

"My journey began in a rural village in Ghana, where opportunities were limited but dreams were limitless. From studying under challenging conditions to pursuing higher education abroad, each obstacle strengthened my resolve," he wrote.

Despite these hardships, he pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in Ghana, where he also gained clinical and surgical experience as a Physician Assistant.

He later relocated to the United States to further his studies and completed a Master of Science in Biology at Eastern New Mexico University.

In addition to his academic achievements, he has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New Mexico and has been involved in cardiovascular physiology research, teaching, and academic mentorship.

He is now serving in the United States Air Force after successfully completing Basic Military Training, marking another milestone in his journey.

He has also been recognised in the GRASAG-USA Student Spotlight for his academic and professional accomplishments.

Ebenezer Aborah expressed appreciation to his wife, mentors, family, and supporters who have been part of his journey.
