There's the church council and the welfare committee, who manage the finances. So the loosing of the elections could be the winner is the one due for the position at the moment, but has to be acceptable to the church, hence the elections. Everyone that pays tithes will testify that their lives are truly blessed.

We do not pay tithes because we want donations from Church at our funerals. That is a welfare issue. Different from tithes.

It is disheartening to see people speak of things they know nothing about and yet speak so forcefully.
