  My Lord Bishop, respectfully, you speak about Truth, but Apostle Nyamekye was not truthful about what he said. He should have given timelines on when they couldn't baptise in the rivers anymore so all of us can judge whether truly and honestly those timelines are correct. If he chooses to put it as if their inability to baptise in rivers just started in the last one year, then every rational human being will ask, when did that start? And if the surrounding facts indicate it couldn't have started in the immediacy, then the next rational question will be why talk about it now when it long started? Could that not have been said right from the time it started? If it is contextualized as though it just started when the facts speak otherwise, people have the right to question that.
  
  My Lord Bishop, the rot in the church is palpable but you, and I mean the leadership of Christiandom, are not fighting that internal battle but only concerned about externalities. What is your position on
  1. Payment of tithe and it serving as the basis for social support to members
  2. Sale of oils, water, posters, handkerchieves, sobolo, etc. as objects of healing and prosperity
  3. Bathing of women by 'pastors'
  4. The choice of known criminals to attend and donate monies at church events, etc.
  
  My Lord Bishop, please also note that when you religious leaders speak to the public, do not always assume you are speaking only to your flock or congregants who so believe you and cannot question you.
  
  It is this pretense in Christiandom that has made many Christians lose faith and either moved to other religions or remain individualistic and not go to church or if they do so, they only do that just as social participation.
  
  There is too much hardship placed on Christians by the demands of these pastors. In any case, in the same communities that they are unable to baptise in the rivers because of galamsey, do the pentecost church pastors there preach that their members there who earn money from galamsey or anything associated with galamsey should not offer that as collection or tithe? They gleefully take them and make the galamsey kingpins elders and harvest chairpersons.
  
  I am seeing a revolution in the church very soon or its death because Christiandom is not truthful. Too much hypocrisy and blackmail.
  
  Madam Awusi, if conscious about your hypocrisy, should have avoided this but having a sharp rational mind will lead any reasonable person to ask critical questions about the lack of candour in Apostle Nyamekye's statement: he was not factually truthful.
