An objective review of the performances of all our leaders after independence would tell you late Gen IK Acheampong was the closest to Dr Kwame Nkrumah. Little was known about I.K. Acheampong that he was a trained teacher b4 joining the Army.His understanding of economic issues at the time and the way he performed with those little resources showed he was visionary.

No doubt , he was one of the most patriotic leaders ghana has e er had, apsrt from our late father, found and president Kwame Nkrumah. Acheampong was so kind, approachable and effective in making things happen. Extremely kind. Those who met or knew him will testify to his very kind heart. I school with some of his children at the great Radiantway preparatory school odorkor. This leader saved Ghana at a very difficult time. We should honour and celebrate him more .there should be a law passed by parliament for all past great leaders to have a uniform resting place. Looks like all our past leaders have different resting places. Thd government should go and upgrade the final resting places of Gen Acheampong and Dr Limann. They both deserve a better resting place.
