South African activist Jacinta Ngobese Zuma, known as Queen Vee, has condemned what she says is a government plan to regularise undocumented immigrants, instead calling for stricter enforcement and deportations.

In a viral YouTube video shared on May 2, 2026, Queen Vee alleged that authorities are considering issuing documentation to foreign nationals living illegally in the country, though the government has not confirmed or denied this policy direction. She strongly opposes the approach.

“It’s clear from the posture of government and some political actors that they believe the best way to deal with illegal immigrants is to document them,” she said.

“But I’m saying no, we do not want people who are in the country illegally to be rewarded with documents,” she added.

Queen Vee argued that those in South Africa without legal status should face penalties, such as fines or deportation, instead of regularisation.

“They are here illegally and breaking our laws. They should not be made comfortable by being given documents,” she stated.

The activist, recently in the spotlight after confronting Ghanaian national Emmanuel Asamoah in a viral incident, also claimed South Africans’ frustrations are growing.

According to her, concerns over access to resources, social tensions, and alleged criminal activity have fueled resentment toward undocumented migrants.

“If it’s too expensive to deport them, then fine them. Make them pay for breaking the law,” she added.

She questioned what she described as an imbalance between the rights of migrants and those of citizens.

Queen Vee’s remarks come amid ongoing national debate over immigration policy in South Africa, where authorities have faced pressure to balance border control, economic realities, and human rights obligations.

Government officials have not formally confirmed any policy to regularise undocumented migrants, and it remains unclear whether such a policy will be implemented. However, discussions around immigration reform continue to generate strong and often polarised reactions across the country.
