One feared dead, two in critical condition at Aboakyir festival

What was expected to be a fun-filled festival has left some individuals in shock and grief following a ghastly accident in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.

According to a report by AdomOnline on April 3, 2026, one person is feared dead, while two others are in critical condition after an accident during a motorbike display at the Aboakyir Festival.

The report indicated that the incident unfolded as two riders were performing stunts on a motorcycle. During the display, one rider lost control, causing the motorcycle to veer off and crash into pedestrians, resulting in injuries.

According to eyewitness accounts, the rider lost his life, while two others sustained critical injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.
