Promasidor Ghana Marketing Manager dies in highway crash

The Marketing Manager of Promasidor Ghana, Patrick Osei, popularly known as ‘Pomo,’ has reportedly died in a tragic road accident at Suhyin along the Koforidua–Tafo highway on May 2, 2026.

The news of his passing has deeply affected colleagues, family, and the corporate community, leading to widespread mourning.

According to eyewitness accounts shared on X on May 3, 2026, Osei was reportedly driving towards Koforidua at high speed when a Hyundai H400, attempting to overtake a motorcycle, veered into his lane.

The eyewitness further explained that, to avoid a head-on collision, Osei swerved off the road, causing his vehicle to crash into a tree.

“It all happened so fast. He tried to avoid the impact, but the car lost control and hit the tree,” the witness said.

A relative at the scene confirmed that the deceased had left behind a wife and three children, adding that the family is devastated by the sudden loss.
