The fire destroyed one bedroom at Breman Essiam in the Central Region of Ghana
A quick response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) prevented a domestic fire from destroying an entire house in Breman Essiam in the Central Region.
According to a report by adomonline.com, the incident occurred around 9:11 am on Monday, May 4, 2026, when firefighters from the Breman Essiam Fire Station were alerted about a blaze behind the Roman School area.
Upon arrival, the crew found one room in a four-bedroom house engulfed in flames.
Thanks to their prompt and tactical firefighting efforts, they were able to "contain the fire and stop it from spreading" to other areas of the building.
Although one bedroom and its contents were completely destroyed, the firefighters successfully "salvaged" three bedrooms, a living room, and several household items, including a washing machine and a freezer.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.
