Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper Paul Reverson is set to feature for the Black Stars
Ghanaian goalkeeper Paul Reverson has enjoyed a brilliant spell with Ajax Amsterdam, earning him a call-up to the Black Stars for the friendly against Mexico.
A video has surfaced showcasing his performances during the 2025/2026 season, where he produced incredible saves to keep his side in crucial games.
At just 20 years old, Reverson demonstrated his shot-stopping ability in key moments, including saving a penalty and intervening in one-on-one situations with composure and calmness.

He also displayed strong ball-playing skills, often building play from the back rather than simply clearing the ball.
The Ajax goalkeeper now has a golden opportunity to cement his place in the national team, especially as regular goalkeepers like Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Benjamin Asare were excluded from the squad.
It is worth noting that the 23-man squad features several new faces and players who are not regulars, as many of the usual names were omitted.
Ghana will travel to Mexico for the international friendly on Friday, May 22, 2026.
