From Belgium to Turkey, Denmark to Brazil, new Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz has assembled a fresh attacking unit packed with pace, variety and goals ahead of Ghana’s international friendly against Mexico.

With several senior stars unavailable due to the match falling outside the FIFA international window, Queiroz has turned to a six-man forward line that has quietly produced 36 goals and 21 assists across club football this season.

Joseph Opoku

The Waregem striker heads into camp as the most prolific forward in the squad.

Opoku has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 32 appearances, making him one of the most productive Ghanaian attackers in Europe this season.

Felix Afena-Gyan

The former AS Roma attacker returns to the Black Stars setup after recording five goals and six assists in 35 matches for Amedspor.

His speed and aggressive running remain major strengths.

Daniel Agyei

Agyei has quietly put together a decent campaign in Turkey with Kocaelispor, scoring five goals in 29 appearances.

The striker offers physical presence and work rate in attack.

Francis Amuzu

After years of debate over his international future, Amuzu finally gets his Black Stars opportunity.

The Gremio winger has contributed one goal and two assists in 12 matches in Brazil.

Ibrahim Osman

The Birmingham City winger is the youngest of the attacking group but remains highly rated.

Osman has managed two goals and two assists in 17 appearances and will hope to use the Mexico friendly to make a statement.
