LIVESTREAMED: President Mahama breaks ground for Green City Housing Project

President John Dramani Mahama will lead the sod-cutting ceremony for the Green City Dedesua housing project in Kumasi, a landmark initiative aimed at advancing modern urban development and expanding affordable housing delivery in Ghana.

The project is being undertaken by State Housing Company Limited and is expected to play a significant role in addressing the country’s housing deficit while promoting sustainable urban planning.

The ceremony will also be attended by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as well as senior government officials and key stakeholders in the housing and construction sectors.

The Green City Dedesua project is envisioned as a modern residential development designed to provide affordable housing options and support the government’s broader agenda of improving access to quality housing for Ghanaians.

The sod-cutting marks the official commencement of work on what is expected to become one of Ghana’s notable large-scale housing developments.
