A 17-year-old girl, Agnes Asomani from Agona Swedru, has dragged Prophet Doctor Worth, a pastor and father of six, to Sompa Nkomo, a programme that resolves domestic and social issues over allegations relating to witchcraft and sexual abuse.

According to Agnes, she was introduced to witchcraft at the age of 13 or 14 by her elder sister, who allegedly instructed her spiritually to hit their father’s waist with a stick.

“She asked me to hit my father’s waist spiritually with a stick, and after I did that, my father became seriously ill and has been suffering since,” Agnes alleged on the programme.

She further claimed that through her elder sister, she was introduced to the pastor, who promised to heal her completely from the alleged witchcraft.

According to Agnes, an arrangement was made for her to stay with the pastor so she could receive spiritual healing.

She explained that because her father had been seriously ill and her family had unsuccessfully sought solutions to the alleged witchcraft situation, she agreed to stay with the pastor in the hope of finding freedom.

“My parents had tried several ways to solve the problem, but nothing worked, so I agreed to stay with the pastor because he promised to help me,” she stated.

Agnes disclosed that the pastor allegedly promised that after staying with him, she, her father, and even her mother who was also ill at the time would all receive healing.

However, she alleged that after living with the pastor for over a year, he failed to deliver on his promise. Instead, she accused him of taking advantage of her.

“For the past year, he has refused to heal me. Instead, he has been sleeping with me,” she disclosed in frustration.

Agnes stated that her decision to bring the matter to Sompa Nkomo was to seek justice and a solution.

When confronted on the show, Prophet Doctor Worth denied all allegations.

He insisted that Agnes had already been healed of witchcraft and rejected the claims of sexual misconduct. “The witchcraft has been healed completely. The allegations of sleeping with her are false,” he said.
