CCTV footage circulating on social media has captured the moment a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor, Victoria Arko, was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by a police inspector identified as Bright Appiah Danquah.

Although the suspect’s face is not clearly visible in the footage, the video shared by Republic Media Gh captures parts of the interaction between him and the victim, as well as, the woman’s reactions during the incident.

The footage, which lasts more than a minute, shows the suspect dressed in a green Lacoste shirt with a small side bag strapped across his body while holding a mobile phone.

He is seen walking past the front of the shop toward the entrance at the back, eventually moving into the camera’s blind spot.

In the video, the suspect is heard making a phone call before asking the victim to look at something he was allegedly showing her.

Moments later, the woman appears visibly frightened and complies with his instructions, apparently out of fear for her safety.

The footage appears to support an earlier account given by the victim regarding how the robbery unfolded, as reported by GhanaWeb on May 12, 2026.

According to Arko, the suspect allegedly stole GH¢38,600 from her at gunpoint.

Speaking to Crime Check TV on May 11, 2026, and monitored by GhanaWeb, she said the incident occurred in broad daylight on May 4, 2026, while she was working at her shop.

She explained that the suspect arrived on a motorbike and initially attempted to involve her in what appeared to be a suspicious mobile money transaction before allegedly pulling out a firearm.
