L-R: Kwabena Adu-Boahene, Rev Dr Stephen Yenusom Wengam and Mildred Donkor
Mildred Donkor, the 3rd prosecution witness in the trial of embattled former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu-Boahene, who was initially the 3rd accused in the case, has narrated how she came to know the former Director-General.
According to a report by TV3, during her cross-examination on May 12, 2026, Mildred Donkor said that she came to know Adu-Boahene through her pastor, Rev Dr Stephen Yenusom Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
She claimed that Rev Dr Wengam was the one who introduced her to Adu-Boahene, who has been accused of causing financial loss to the state and money laundering in connection with a GH¢49 million cybersecurity software deal for the national security.

“She also testified that she was introduced to the former National Signals Bureau Director by the Assemblies of God General Superintendent during Adu Boahen’s 30th birthday celebration at the church, as they were all members of the Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God congregation.
“Years later, she was appointed Director of Advantage Solutions Company Limited, one of several businesses owned by the accused persons,” a TV3 reporter said in a news report on the case.
The reporter also stated that the 3rd prosecution witness, who made these remarks while she was being questioned by the lawyer for Adu-Boahene, former Member of Parliament Samuel Atta Akyea, also opened up on how she had to take comfort from Rev. Dr Wengam during her arrest and interrogation.
She is reported to have said that the experience was too much for her and that it took the guidance of her pastor for her to stay strong.
Mildred Donkor told the court that she had to be counselled by her pastor, Reverend Stephen Wengam, after what she described as a traumatic ordeal at the Economic and Organised Crime Office, where she was arrested, detained and eventually granted bail.
“Mildred disclosed that she frequently visited the premises of EOCO with her young daughter and was questioned for several hours daily,” the report said.
