Wontumi and others like him were given official permission to mine/do galamsey in Forest Reserves - LI 2462. I always wonder if we actually had educated people in government during those 8 years of misrule. These people transformed our rivers from clear to cocoa coloured, and flavoured with mercury poisoning.
