  This appointment by President Mahama is misguided. The individual in question seems to believe that all rented houses, spaces, or hostels should be controlled as if they belong to him. His ignorance and arrogance could lead to his dismissal very soon. Since when has there been price control in the private sector? This behavior is becoming excessive. He should go to hotels and tell them to stop raising their prices. His calling for legal action against the already struggling rent department, very soon he will know his smoothness level. And could create significant problems for them.
